Taking the Stage Theatre Classes Text Box: ISTA has announced its new Spring semester : Text Box:                  Theatre for the Advanced Beginner - Saturdays @ 10:00 am Beginning March 9   This seven-week class is for students who have taken Intro to Theatre. This course will build on the skills to which they have been introduced. The class will focus on building characters, tapping into emotion, and "being surreal". The class project will be a melodrama comedy set in the old west entitled “The Ballad of Gopher Gap.” Auditions will held the first week of class and parts will be assigned the following week. Those students who wish to sign up but have not taken Intro to Theatre will be give special consideration on a case by case basis Cost : $20/ class ($100 if prepaid) Registration closes the first day of class.

Text Box: Theatre for Homeschoolers Mondays and Tuesdays at 11 am Taught during the day, this course will teach the many of the basics of the stage while having a lot of hands on fun. Students will receive instruction in stage directions, finding their voice, confidence in public speaking, interpreting roles, characterization, projection, as well as improvisation. This class will conclude with a class project presentation.   All class schedules are subject to change. A second class for each group could be offered if the need arises.   Classes are $20.00/class or $100.00 if paid at registration
